FreQuently Asked Questions

WHAT TO EXPECT?

Before scheduling the procedure, your healthcare specialist will meet with you to examine your skin to determine if the excel V is right for you. The procedure will reduce redness, broken capillaries, rosacea, brown spots and melasma. Several treatments may be necessary to achieve optimal results.

HOW MANY TREATMENTS WILL I NEED?

Since everyone’s skin is different, the number of treatments varies from patient to patient. Your healthcare specialist will help determine how many treatment sessions you need based on your skin concerns and your personal treatment goals. Each Excel V laser treatment is at least 1 month apart until you are pleased with the results, and then you will return for touch-ups as needed.

WILL I NEED TIME TO RECOVER?

After the excel V laser treatment, you may have some swelling and redness for a few days. Call your healthcare provider if you develop open sores or scabs in the treatment area.

WHAT ARE THE POSSIBLE SIDE EFFECTS®?

Swelling, redness, and temporary darkening of brown spots in the treatment area. Depending on your skin concerns, you may be required to use a brightener during the treatment period.

WHAT SHOULD I TELL MY DOCTOR BEFORE TREATMENT?

  • Are pregnant
  • Are taking any medications, especially antibiotics or blood thinners

Use gentle skin care for the week following your procedure. Including SPF 35 +.
